Vintage Wax Treasures
One of my absolute joys is finding beautiful pre-loved glass and ceramic treasures and giving them a new life through candle making. My cats are also an inspiration, and you will see some hints to their personalities hidden within some of the pieces. The“Gone Fishing” scene sees three cats hiding in the bushes circling round an unsuspecting shark (plate) waiting to pounce…
Love is always in the air, and it is a joy to add crimson kisses to heart shaped plates scented with orange blossom – take a look at the latest range.
Food related candles may sometimes appear, eggs especially! “Brunch for two” is one of my favourites. Finding a lovely set of Steelite plates tossed into the bargain bin at a local charity shop, I paired them up with some discarded ceramic pots and a small jug to create a centre piece with two lavender scented egg-shaped candles.
The Bridgerton Set are bound to bring glamour and comment to any dining table, with the outrageous displays of vibrant wax candles and accessories mounted onto a set of three stunning yellow desert plates…Who could resist!
